If your software is not recognizing your fingerprint reader unit, you may need to install an updated driver. This driver is for use with fingerprint readers that have “Acroprint” printed on the front edge:

Install this driver if you are using ATRx Secure PunchIn with software version 2.3.26 or earlier, running on one of the following operating systems:

  • Windows Vista x32/64
  • Windows Server 2008 x32/64
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 x32/64

Drivers for all other supported operating systems are included on the Secure PunchIn CD. These fingerprint readers are not currently supported for use on Windows 7.

Download the file and save it to your hard drive. Make a note of the location.

Unzip the file, then run the .EXE file to install this driver before connecting the fingerprint reader.
