The ATRx ProxTime terminal sends all punch information to the PC where the hours are calculated. The terminal only displays whether the punch was accepted or rejected. The Time Q +Plus time clock makes all of the calculations internally, and can therefore display accumulated hours at the terminal. No information is transferred to the PC. Allowing the PC to calculate the punches from the ATRx ProxTime terminal allows the software greater functionality. For instance, features included in ATRx ProxTime but not available in the Time Q +Plus include handling of Sick, Vacation, Holiday, FMLA, and Other time, as well as allowing tracking of the benefit time and in/out status of salaried employees.
