Clocking in and out at the ATRx ProxTime terminal using a proximity badge:

Employees should place their badges in front of the clock in order to clock in or out. The most sensitive portion of the clock (the best place to put the badge) is just below the keypad on the face of the clock. The reader should display a Good message followed by an accept or reject code. If the card is rejected, this indicates the badge is not assigned to anyone in the system to which the clock is connected.

Clocking in and out at the ATRx ProxTime terminal using a PIN:

If employees forget their badges and need to use their PINs, they simply key the number on the terminal keypad and press Enter.  The clock should display a Good message followed by an accept or reject code. If the PIN is rejected, this indicates the PIN is not assigned to anyone in the system to which the clock is connected.

Please note: employees can clock out using either a PIN or a badge. They cannot enter a PIN and swipe a badge for the same transaction. Doing so will result in double punching.
