Open Device Manager. To find out how to open Device Manager under Windows 98 click here. To find out how to open Device Manager under Windows 2000 or XP click here. Double-click on Ports. Right-click the Com port to which the clock is connected and select Properties. Verify the settings are as follows:
Click Advanced. Make sure the com port number is the same as the com port you initially selected.
Click OK to close the Com Port Properties window. Close the Device Manager Window (Windows 2000 and XP only). Click OK to close the System Properties window. |
