Close Time and Attendance if open. Verify that the clock is connected to the PC using ONLY the cable and adapter provided. If using a USB to serial adapter, was it purchased through Acroprint? If it was not, you will need to verify through the adapters manufacturer that the adapter is functioning properly and what com port it is emulating. You will need to know your operating system in order to complete the following steps. For a quick way to determine your operating system, click here. If you have an adapter purchased through Acroprint, open Device Manager (Windows 98, Windows 2000, or XP; Windows NT4 does not support USB) to verify that the USB adapter is installed properly. If you are not using a USB adapter, Open Device Manager (Windows 98, Windows 2000, or XP, NT4) to verify the Com port settings. After verifying settings, open Time and Attendance. Select Auto Detect to attempt to find your clock. If clock is still not found, please call 1-800-334-7190 for assistance. There may be a charge for telephone support. |
